Do you need an influencer license in the UAE?
The permit is the National Media Authority’s “Permit for an Individual to Provide Advertising or Media Content on Social Media and Other Digital Platforms.” It covers an individual publishing advertising or media content on social accounts, a website, or another digital platform, whether they are paid or not.
I checked the Authority’s page on 7 October 2026. The fee is free for the first 3 years, then AED 1,000. The service takes 3 working days. That page states no fine. The Authority also sets eligibility conditions. Read them on its page.

More rules I checked are in the Journal.
